An old-school adventure

Each hero's gauge fills in real time, then it's their turn. Choose Active or Wait mode and a battle speed from 1 to 6, set front and back rows, or switch on auto-battle.

A party of five

Cassian, Liora, Ilse, Wren and Taren, each with their own skills. Swap members in and out, equip them from town shops and learn how they fit together.

Chapter I: The Broken Seal

About 2½ to 4 hours on Normal across three arcs: Whisperwood and the Sunken Abbey, the sleeping town of Mirefen, and the Greyspine Pass. Five bosses, side quests and a journal that recaps the story.

Old lore, told with care

The story draws on the Bible, Jewish texts, Islamic and Arabian folklore and old demon lore such as the Ars Goetia. The demons are the villains, and no faith is mocked.

Play your way

On-screen touch controls, Bluetooth game controllers or a keyboard. Pick Beginner, Normal or Expert, save at glowing Wayshrines, and the game autosaves as you go.

Comfortable for everyone

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much will Sevenfold cost?

Sevenfold is a premium game: you buy it once and that's it. There are no in-app purchases, no ads and no energy timers. We'll share the price closer to launch.

What age is it for?

We're aiming it at teens and up, around 12 and over. Battles are fantasy violence against monsters and undead, with no blood. The story has demons and occult themes drawn from biblical and folk lore. There's no chat, no user-generated content and no social features. The final age rating comes from the App Store when the game is submitted.

Does it treat religion respectfully?

Yes, that matters to us. The lore borrows from the Bible, Jewish texts and Islamic and Arabian folklore, but the demons are the villains, no faith or prophet is mocked or depicted, and the divine is shown as distant and good.

How do saves work?

Save at any Wayshrine (they heal your party too) into one of three slots. The game also autosaves on every map change and after every cutscene. Saves stay on your device, so deleting the app deletes them.

Can I use a controller?

Yes. Sevenfold works with on-screen touch controls, Bluetooth game controllers and keyboards, and the button prompts change to match whatever you used last. You can remap the buttons in Settings. On iPhone it plays in landscape.

Is it coming to other platforms?

Steam on PC comes first, with iPhone and iPad following about a month later. Android and consoles are planned for later, and we'll post news here when we have it.
